CCD ASTRONOMY AT PINE MTN. OBSERVATORY

AMATEURS & PROFESSIONALS WORKING TOGETHER


This interesting and informative amateur video takes you on a tour of Pine Mtn. Observatory and it's newly rebuilt 32" telescope and then features a detailed demonstration of the latest in astronomical observing techniques. This CCD program is the only one in America open to public participation (contact Friends). The Observatory is located 20 miles east of Bend, Oregon in Central Oregon. Taped in August 1993, the video contains:
