WHEN THE TROUPE TELLS TALES
Under the direction of Robert Rubinstein, the nationally-known Troupe of
Tellers from Roosevelt Middle School in Eugene has performed for 23 years.
This VIDEO presents students telling tales and story theatre. It also showcases
some of these young tellers from past years, and discusses many of the skills
and benefits learning to tell tales offers young people in school and throughout
their lives as described by these young tellers themselves. The National Assn.
of Storytelling considers the Troupe a national model for how young people
can learn to tell and grow.
